Represenatatives from the construction Industry recently met with Governor Newsom to clarify the ?Stay Home? order and its? impact on the construction industry as it pertains to the global Covid-19 virus crisis. ?The California State Public Health Office and Director of the California Department of Public Health is ordering all individuals in the State of California to stay home or at their place of residence, except as neeeded to maintain the continuity of operations f the federal critical infra- structure sectors, critical government services, school, childcare, and construction, including housing construction.?
Rovazzini Electric is further considered essential because of our work in regards to maintaining projects that are vital to the public and infrastructure. As a result of this, we are permitted to work on and support any projects that would require our services. Together, we are not only exempt from the Governor?s ?Stay Home? order, but we have a legal bligation to man these projects and to provide any essential services within our scope. As of now, all projects not closed by authorities will proceed as normal – with appropriate preventative measures (hand washing, social distancing, etc.) in place.
